SC judge expresses anger over falsely attributed remarks in Panama Papers verdict
ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court judge Justice Eaz Afzal Khan on Friday expressed anger over remarks by a politician who said all five judges of the apex court called the prime minister a liar in the landmark ruling of Panama Papers case.
The judge warned of taking those to task who would misattribute or misquote the judges of the Supreme Court.
Without naming anyone, the judge said a politician has lied and misled the people by saying all the judges of the larger bench hearing Panama Papers case had called the prime minister a liar.
Justice Khan is part of the three-member special bench that was constituted to ensure the implementation of the Supreme Court verdict and monitor the working of the joint investigation team.
He said the apex court would announce the formation of the JIT later today.
