RAWALPINDI: Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Federal Interior Minister said that we would be secured only if the labourers of the Wah Ordinance Factory (POF) are safe.
He was speaking on the eve of Labour Day here at the Wah Ordinance Factory Complex on Monday.
The federal minister said that if security is not adequate in a high-security area like Wah Cantt then it could raise a question mark on the performance of intelligence and security agencies.
He said this in reference to an intelligence report, which expressed fear of a terrorist attack in Wah Cantt citing that terrorists could carry out an attack at the POF complex in the Wah Cantt area at the Labour Day ceremony.
However, Chaudhry Nisar attended the ceremony along with two other federal ministers Rana Tanveer Hussain and Muhammad Barjees Tahir despite the security fears.
Nisar said that if the lives of labourers at the POF complex in Wah Cantt are not safe then even he does not care for his own life.
