Nations not built by constructing bridges but by character: Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said on Friday that nations are not built by constructing bridges and metro projects but by character.

Addressing a large gathering here, the PTI chief said that the nations were not built by constructing bridges and metro projects but by character.

He said that a leader cannot safeguard the public money unless he is “Sadiq” and “Ameen”.

Two of the judges had remarked that Nawaz was not “Sadiq” and “Amin” while all five declared him as “liar”, Imran said.

While addressing to Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, he asked them to say under oath that you had never given bribe to anyone.

Speaking about the government’s plan to sue him, the PTI chief asked the government to take him to the court.

“I will reveal name of the person who made me the offer in court. I will pray the court to provide protection to that person,” Imran said. Your (Sharif’s) other relatives will also get caught in this. 

“I am not revealing name of that person because they (Sharif’s) will shut his business, “ he added.

Speaking about brutality of Indian forces in held Kashmir, he said that if Kashmiri people were not Muslims, the entire world would have taken notice of the situation in the valley.

Imran vowed to raise voice for the rights of Kashmiri people at all forums.

Modi is engaged in conspiracies against Pakistan, he said.
