ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Pirzada has accused Prime Minister’s Secretary Fawad Hasan Fawad of interfering in his ministry and has tendered resignation after he was denied meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
A day earlier, the minister had expressed his reservations over the removal of DG Sports and sought time from the prime minister for a meeting and threatened to quit in case was not allowed to meet.
Riaz Pirzada said he was insulted by the PM’s secretary and it’s enough now. He and the Secretary Establishment are involved in corruption, the minster alleged.
Speaking to workers at the Islamabad Sports Complex, Pirzada said there was interference in his ministry.
