Five terrorists killed in countrywide operations in last 24 hours: ISPR
RAWALPINDI: Five terrorists were killed while nine arrested in 29 search operations carried out across the country over the last 24 hours, an ISPR statement said here on Thursday.
Twelve search operations were carried in various areas of Punjab, including Pakpattan, Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran and Bahawalpur, the statement added.
It maintained that five terrorists belonged to a banned outfit were killed in the search operations. Nine terrorists were arrested in the operations based on intelligence.
FC had arrested two terrorists – Shahid and Abdur Razzaq – during an operation on secret information in Khyber Agency’s Bar Qamber Khel and Bara areas. The terrorists were preparing a major terror plan in the area. They were receiving directions from a neighbouring country, the statement added.
