LAYYAH: A father poisoned his five children and attempted to suicide over domestic issue in Layyah, police said.
According to police, the incident took place in Chak 341 TDA, the outskirts of Layyah.
The children aged between 5-12 years died instantly while the father has been admitted to a nearby hospital in critical condition, police added.
The victims include a boy and four girls.
Police said the man had also divorced his wife last year and was distressed owing to his domestic situation.
