HYDERABAD: A hotel and more than 20 shops were gutted after a fire broke out at timber market in Matiari near Bhitt Shah, police said.
The fire erupted late on Wednesday night and engulfed several shops and a hotel in Bhit Shah's timber market.
However, firefighters timely sprang into action and doused the fire. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported in its wake.
The cause of the blaze could not be ascertained, officials said.
