RAWALPINDI: Rangers, Sindh, had killed four members of a banned militant group in a targeted operation being carried as a part of the Operation Raddul Fasaad in Urdu Bazaar area on Monday night, an ISPR statement said on Tuesday.
The killed terrorists, including Zahid Afridi alias Fahim, Muhammad Hafeezullah Quetta Wal and Mama were members of banned outfit Jundullah while one Afshan was their facilitator.
The Sindh Rangers had carried out the targeted operation in Karachi’s Urdu Bazaar area on Monday night.
These terrorists were involved in various acts of terrorism, including remote-controlled explosions.
According to the ISPR the killed terrorists were involved in the following acts of terrorism:
· Attack on a bus of special security unit on March 15, 2015.
· Attack on Karachi’s City Court.
· Attack on Rangers’ mobile near Masjid Abu Huraira.
· Bank robberies
· Killings of Shia community members in 2013.
· Kidnapping for ransom of ANP’s Ajab Khan.
· Digging of Karachi’s Central Jail in 2015.
