ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi said on Tuesday that he had nothing to do with the Dawn Leaks so there was no reason to resign.
Sources said that Fatemi had denied any link with the Dawn Leaks.
Earlier in the day, Tariq Fatemi had a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the Dawn Leaks inquiry committee report, the sources added.
There had been reports that PM Nawaz Sharif might ask Fatemi to step down in wake of the Dawn Leaks inquiry.
