MALAKAND: PPP Co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has dubbed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as a ‘student of Gen Ziaul Haq’, saying he was carrying forwarding the agenda of the former military dictator.
“I will retrieve whatever these dacoits have looted,” the former president vowed while addressing a public gathering here on Tuesday.
Speaking about the CPEC project, he said that the project had been initiated for Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Balochistan. The project is viable today only because we constructed the Attabad Lake route.
Reiterating his earlier claim, Zardari said that we had given identity to Pakhtuns. With your support we had hoisted the national flag in Swat.
We looked after the displaced citizens, when a war-like situation erupted here. BB Shaheed had always raised voice for FATA. We will merge FATA with the KP, he added.
Criticising the foreign policy, he said that problems for Pakistani’s living abroad had increased manifold.
He said that the judges had also remarked ‘Go Nawaz Go’.
On the occasion, the former president while referring to the PTI chief also chanted ‘Go Jaali Khan Go’ (Go Fake Khan Go).
