LAHORE: At least five ready-made garment shops were gutted after a plaza caught fire in Lahore’s New Anarkali area early on Monday.
Rescue sources said over eight fire fighting vehicles are busy dousing the inferno. The fire completely turned the goods of 4 to 5 shops into ashes.
Sources said the fire erupted due to short circuit.
The fire fighters are facing difficulties in extinguishing the blaze as they could not enter inside the building owing to thick smoke.
