ISLAMABAD: The PML-N’s consultative meeting held here on Friday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has unanimously accepted the Panama verdict announced by the Supreme Court.
Although the meeting, held at the Prime Minister House, had some reservations, it accepted the verdict.
Maryam Nawaz, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan, Minister for Planning, Development, and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif Khawaja Asif, Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique and other senior PML-N leaders attended the meeting.
Sources said that the participants of the meeting were agreed to implement the Supreme Court verdict despite some reservations.
The meeting agreed that the government would cooperate with the joint investigation team and answer SC’s 13 questions.
