ISLAMABAD: Moderate earthquake struck various areas of the country including twin cities Islamabad-Rawalpindi and its adjacent areas in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The 5.5-magnitude quake hit Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Nowshera and others at around 4:05 a.m. The epicenter was Hindu Kash and its depth was measured at 180 kilometers.
The tremors created panic among the residents, however, no loss of life and property has been reported.
