Karachi: Fire tenders from all over city called in for Saddar blaze

KARACHI: A fire broke out in a factory on Monday in Saddar area for which the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has called in fire tenders from all over the city.
The fire department of the KMC has declared the inferno a third-degree intensity fire. A reporter on the scene told that no casualty has been reported from the blaze in a wooden box making factory.
Chief Fire Officer Tehseen Siddiqui, who was present there, said the firework material was stored in an adjacent warehouse, which intensified the inferno.
