PESHAWAR: Imam Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Mohammad Ibrahim arrived in Peshawar on Thursday on the invitation of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) which is marking its centenary celebrations starting Friday.
The Imam was accompanied by Saudi Religious Affairs Minister Saleh bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh. The guests were received by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yusuf and Jamiat Ulema-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Federal minister Akram Khan Durrani and officials from the Saudi embassy were also present at the airport.
The JUIF will hold centenary celebrations at Azakhel in Nowshera district, which will continue till April 9.
