LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said that a conspiracy hatched in the guise of protest sit-ins to topple an elected government has failed miserably.
He said this while chairing a meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) provincial parliamentary party here. The chief minister said that a ‘container-show’ had been staged for over four months in the federal capital.
However, the biggest conspiracy in the country’s history came to its logical conclusion eventually, he added.
Chairing the meeting, CM Sharif said that a 100 MW solar power plant project has been completed in only six months and would soon be inaugurated by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
