ATTOCK: Rescuers have found five bodies floating in Indus River, some 25 kilometers from Attock city, according to Geo News.
Three of the bodies were stuffed in gunny bags and recovered from the river with the help of locals.
The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico legal formalities.
Geo News reported that four bodies were decomposed and beyond recognition while one of the deceased was identified by his family as Hamza Majid, a resident of Nowshera district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Police have yet to make a statement about the cause of the deaths.
