Aizaz Chaudhry says dialogues, political stability only solution to Afghan issue
WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s new Ambassador to United States, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry has stated that Operation Raddul Fasaad was initiated to eliminate the remnants of terrorists.
Speaking to US journalists here, Aizaz Chaudhry said, “Military operation Zarb-e-Azb has yielded positive results. Raddul Fasaad is launched to eliminate the remnants of terrorists.”
Over Pak-India relations, Aizaz Chaudhry said Pakistan wanted good relations with neighbouring India. “New Delhi and Islamabad should engage in meaningful dialogues”, he said and added that peace and stability in the region is only possible with dialogues between them.
Commenting on instability in Afghanistan, the Pakistan’s Ambassador said peace in Afghanistan could be achieved through dialogues and political stability there and not with the military might.
“Military adventurism not the solution to Afghan issue,” he asserted.
