Ahmed Ali Sheikh appointed Sindh High Court Chief Justice

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday approved the appointment of Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh as Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court (SHC).
Current Chief justice of the SHC Sajjad Ali Shah has been elevated to the Supreme Court and the president has also approved his appointment.

Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh was the senior most judge of the Sindh High Court.
Judicial commission and the Parliamentary Committee on the Judges Appointment had already recommended appointment of both the judges before the approval of the president.
