RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa met with team Peshawar Zalmi on Saturday and congratulated them for winning the second edition of the Pakistan Super League.
According to the ISPR, the army chief met Peshawar Zalmi team and felicitated them for winning the second edition of the PSL. Peshawar Zalmi won the final of the PSL which was held on March 5, Sunday at Lahore's Gaddafi stadium by beating Quetta Gladiators.
The match was a spectacle to witness in the sense that foreign players such as Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels as well as others participated at the packed Gaddafi stadium amid tight security.
The army chief had offered his full cooperation with regard to provision of foolproof security to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for the PSL final that was held in Lahore.
