LAHORE: Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad gained momentum in Punjab as 19 suspects from various cities across the province were arrested, on Saturday.
According to ISPR, a search operation was conducted across various cities in Punjab which include Dera Ghazi Khan, Rojhan, Lahore, Narowal, Rawalpindi and Attock.
Punjab rangers, police and agencies in a combined operation have seized arms and weapons in large quantities from the 19 suspects.
Pakistan Army announced the operation after a spate of terrorist attacks killed hundreds and injured thousands in the country during the last month, raising concerns that the fragile peace which had been maintained over the last couple of years was under threat once again from resurgent militancy.
