ISLAMABAD: PTI chief Imran Khan, in a series of tweets, announced that his party members would not attend any chat shows on televisions or public forums where PML-N MNA Javed Latif was invited, following the parliamentarian's scuffle with Murad Saeed on Thursday.
Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz have been at odds with each other ever since the last few years since PTI became a major political player in Pakistani politics. While political jibes have been traded back and forth between the two rivals, things got out of hand on Thursday outside the National Assembly when Murad Saeed of PTI punched Javed Latif from PML-N in the face.

Following the incident, Javed Latif addressed the media and made indecent remarks about Murad Saeed's family members. The statement was condemned from all quarters and PTI chief Imran Khan announced a social boycott of the PML-N MNA. In a series of tweets, Imran stated that no PTI representative will take part in a TV chat show or participate in a public forum where Javed Latif is present, as a protest against the remarks he made against Murad Saeed's sisters and Imran Khan.
