ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Thursday took to Twitter to condemn abusive language used against the family of his party lawmaker Murad Saeed by a PML-N lawmaker.

He was referring to a scuffle in which Murad Saeed reportedly punched Javed Latif in the National Assembly  earlier in the day.

“Stooping to such depths especially  in our society where the sanctity of our families is respected by even the worst of enemies is unacceptable,” he said.

Khan said PMLN leaders disrespected Benazir Benazir Bhutto , her mother and his former wife Jemima in the past.

Talking to media Murad Saeed alleged PML-N MNA used derogatory remarks against  Imran Khan. “He called my leader traitor and then abused him as well”, Murad said.

PML-N’s Talal Chaudhry rejected the allegations and said PTI is known for such tactics. “Imran Khan is frustrated after suffering defeat on all the fronts, he said”.

Leader of the Opposition, Khursheed Shah condemned the incident and met the Speaker in his Chamber to discuss the matter.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq also took  notice of the incident and sought CCTV footage of the scuffle .
