Pakistani-American leader receives 'Sylvester Turner Perseverance Award'
HOUSTON: Houston: Pakistani Community Leader and President of Houston, Karachi Sister City Association, Muhammad Saeed Sheikh received 2017 "Sylvester Turner Perseverance Award” along with United States Congress Recognition.
Saeed Seaikh has became the first Pakistani American who is honored by the Tri-County Regional Black Chamber of Commerce awards this year.
The Award gala and international Conference was attended by delegates from the Caribbean Region, China & other Countries. Conference sessions were addressed by Leondria R. Thompson, President & CEO of the host chamber and panelists.
Other Pakistani community members who attended the event included Dr. Ashraf & Noor Abbasi, Farida Sheikh, Sajid & Shyda Hussain, Dr. Nadeem & Shama Anwar, Farooq & Rubina Asmat & Zafar & Meena.
