KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh recovered a cache of arms from Landhi number six here on Tuesday.
A Rangers communication said that a raid was conducted on an intelligence tip off that some miscreants belonging to MQM-London had hidden arms and ammunition with the intention of committing sabotage.
It said that Rangers took prompt action and during search recovered arms and ammunition hidden on the rooftop.
This consisted of weapons and ammunition including six kalashinkovs, five magazines, one rifle of 8mm, two 7mm rifles, one repeater, five pistols of 30 bore, and 554 rounds.
The Rangers communication maintained that the arms was to be used for target killings and acts of terrorism
