KARACHI: Pakistani actress Saba Qamar maybe getting ready to make an impact in the Indian film industry with her debut Bollywood flick alongside stellar actor Irrfan Khan, but not long ago, she did insult Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi during a morning show.

Saba Qamar will foray into the Indian film industry after a plethora of hit drama serials in Pakistan. An old video, however, of the Pakistani actress resurfaced and started trending in India, in which she appears to be talking trash about Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi.

The video is from 2015 in which Saba is a guest at a morning show hosted by veteran Pakistani actress Noor. The morning show host asks her to reject hypothetical film offers from heroes such as Hrithik Roshan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi. The pictures of the actors are displayed on the screen for Saba to comment on.

With regard to Salman Khan, the actress said that she would reject him because he was too 'chichora'. The harshest dig was at Emraan Hashmi, for whom Saba said that she would decline the offer since she did not want to catch 'mouth cancer'. With regard to Hrithik Roshan, Qamar said that she did not like a man who was divorced and who already had two children.

"He's also not my type," she said about Hrithik Roshan.

She was quite smitten by Ranbir Kapoor but since the segment required her to say no, Saba said her reason for declining Ranbir would be due to his rumoured affair with Deepika Padukone. With regard to Riteish Deshmukh, the Pakistani actress said that she considered herself an A-list actress in Pakistan and wanted to work similarly with an A-list actor from Bollywood.

Saba Qamar is the latest Pakistani actress to make her debut in Bollywood, after Mawra Hocane, Sara Loren, Veena Malik and Mahira Khan have already done the same. She is starring in a comedy film with actor Irrfan Khan titled Hindi Medium..

The leaked video could spell trouble for the actress, especially since relations are tense between India and Pakistan after the Uri attack. Bollywood producers have already called for a ban on Pakistani artists. Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan were two of Pakistan's top exports to Bollywood and they bore the brunt of the boycott by Indian producers.

Only time will tell if the video does ignite fury in India or will it go unnoticed...
