RAWALPINDI: Three Pakistan Army personnel including a Captain were martyred when an IED exploded on its convoy in Awaran, Balochistan, Inter Services Public Relations said Thursday.
Two soldiers also sustained injuries in the impoverished explosive devices blast.
“Three more sons laid their lives for motherland at Awaran. None can deter our resolve to defeat enemies and safeguard our Pakistan,” the DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted.
Those embraced shahadat (martyrdom) include Captain Taha, Sepoy Kamran Satti and Sepoy Mehtar Jan.
The bodies of martyred army men and the injuries personnel have been shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
