Sindh CM presents Rs 10m cheque to KPC
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday presented a cheque of Rs 10 million to President Karachi Press Club (KPC), Fazil Jamili.
Qaim Ali Shah presented the cheque to the KPC President during a meeting with the governing body members of PKC and journalists belonging to various media outlets.

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday presented a cheque of Rs 10 million to President Karachi Press Club (KPC), Fazil Jamili.
Qaim Ali Shah presented the cheque to the KPC President during a meeting with the governing body members of PKC and journalists belonging to various media outlets.
The KPC, in response, gave the CM Sindh honourary lifetime membership.
Speaking on the occasion, Qaim Ali Shah said it is very important to write on any issue and journalists of Karachi are second to none when it comes to highlighting the weaknesses of the government or any other issue.
He said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) always supported the journalists’ fraternity. He said media men play a vital role towards the betterment of the society.
Later, Qaim Ali Shah thanked President KPC Fazil Jamili, General Secretary AH Khanzada and other members for honouring him with the membership.
Provincial Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon assured the journalists of resolving their problems.
The KPC President appreciated Qaim Ali Shah for granting Rs 10 million to KPC.
The governing body also presented the traditional gift of Ajrak to Sindh CM and those accompanying him.
