Foundation of Grand Jamia Masjid laid in Karachi
KARACHI: The ground breaking of Grand Jamia Masjid Bahria Town was held here on Tuesday.
The foundation stone was placed by a 73-year old laborer. Speaking on the occasion, General Manager Construction Bahria Town Riazur Rehman said that the mosque would be built on 2 lac square feet atop a 60 feet hill.

KARACHI: The ground breaking of Grand Jamia Masjid Bahria Town was held here on Tuesday.
The foundation stone was placed by a 73-year old laborer. Speaking on the occasion, General Manager Construction Bahria Town Riazur Rehman said that the mosque would be built on 2 lac square feet atop a 60 feet hill.
The mosque will have a capacity of 200,000 Namizis while a university will also be constructed in the mosque where 1500 students would be enrolled.
