RAWALPINDI: The postings and transfers at the top army positions continue as Major General Asif Ghafoor has been appointed as the new director general (DG) for Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Presently, he is commanding a division in Swat. ISPR Director General Lt Gen Asim Bajwa has been posted as Inspector General Arms at GHQ.

The incumbent chief was appointed as DG ISPR in April 2012 and served at the post for over four years. In 2015, he was promoted to the rank of three-star general.
