KARACHI: Chief Of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived in the city on Wednesday, his first official visit to Karachi since he assumed command of Pakistan Army.
According to the ISPR, Gen., Qamar Javed Bajwa is on a one-day visit to Karachi. The army chief went to the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam and placed flowers there after offering fateha.
Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa then proceeded to the Corps Headquarters. There, he will be briefed about the security situation of Karachi and details of the operation to rid the city of criminals.
