LAHORE: Dense fog in Lahore and its adjoining areas has disrupted road and air traffic as flight schedule was suspended and Motorway was closed at several sections.
According to details, due to heavy fog, visibility is reduced to Zero as a result Motorway from Lahore to Pindi Bhattiyan and Lahore to Sheikhupura was closed.
Vehicular traffic was also halted from Pindi Bhattiyan to Faisalabad due to thick mist.
Passengers are also facing difficulties at G.T Road from Lahore to Okara.
Motorway police have advised commuters to drive slowly and switch on fog lights.
The commuters have also been requested people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.
Meanwhile, the visibility was reduced to 50-100m at Allama Iqbal Airport Lahore prompting suspension of domestic and international flights.
