BEIJING: China on Thursday expressed condolences to the families of the victims of PIA plane crash that killed all 47 people on board on Wednesday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said at a routine press briefing Chinese people stand firmly with Pakistani people at this sad moment.
"The Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Chinese embassy in Pakistan have verified the Chinese victim's identity and are giving support to his family," he said.
A passenger plane of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) with 47 people on board including one Chinese national crashed in the country's northwest Havelian area on Wednesday.
