LAHORE: PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari warned the government on Wednesday that if they did not meet his four demands, the party would take to the streets in protest.
Addressing a press conference, Bilawal said that PPP would adopt democratic means to dismiss the government. He said that if his demands were not met on Dec. 27, then he would announce a long march on the same day against the federal government.
"I'm not issuing threats like Imran Khan," he warned. "I will not reveal my strategy to you right now. That is Imran Khan's style, not mine," added the Bhutto scion.
Bilawal Bhutto said that he would form a progressive alliance against the menace of terrorism and said that he would not indulge in politics over the matter. He said that if the cause and mission against terrorism would be one, then all efforts would be united. Bilawal said that he was also a victim of terrorism.
"I am not an ordinary politician. I am the son of a shaheed (martyr)," he said.
Bilawal said that he would be in Lahore most of the time starting next month and would also conduct political matters from the Old City.
"Starting January, I will become a citizen of Lahore and do politics from here," he said.
