KARACHI: Sindh Rangers have apprehended three terrorists affiliated to banned outfits Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and Al-Qaeda late on Friday.
Rangers spokesman said among the three terrorists one belongs to Al-Qaeda Sub-Continent and two are affiliated to LeJ.
Over 16 other suspects were also rounded up during various actions in the metropolis, the spokesman he said and added that the other arrested suspects were either extortionists or street criminals.
They include six extortionists, four Iranian diesel smugglers, two illegal immigrants and two street criminals.
Meanwhile, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of police also claimed to have arrested three target killers from Surjani Town.
Another hitman was arrested from Orangi Town.
Also, two alleged robbers were killed in the firing of a citizen in SITE area.
