KARACHI: Former Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan said on Wednesday that he would visit Karachi soon.

Speaking to Geo News, Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan was asked when he intended to come to Karachi. In response, he said that he would visit the city in a couple of weeks.

"I am missing Karachi a lot," he said, while speaking to Geo News.

Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan also got a telephone call from former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. According to Ibad, the PPP co-chairman had called him just to exchange warm wishes.

"We did not speak on politics at all," said Ibad, referring to his phone call with Zardari.

Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan resigned as the Governor of Sindh earlier this month and on the same day, left for Dubai. The federal government had decided to replace him with Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui as the new governor.

Ibad had resigned a couple of days after he was involved in a verbal spat with PSP chief Syed Mustafa Kamal, in which the two hurled accusations against each other.
