LAHORE: A stage actress named Kismat Baig and her guard, were injured in a shooting incident in Lahore, on Thursday morning.
Kismat Baig, a famous stage actress, was injured along with her guard when unarmed assailants shot at her vehicle early morning in Lahore. The shooting incident reportedly took place in Lahore's Harbanspura town.
Kismat Baig and her guard were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to police. The assailants fled after shooting the actress' vehicle.
Kismat's mother claimed that her daughter had been targeted, claiming that her daughter had been shot three times. She stated that it was a deliberate attack and not a case of robbery.
In two other shooting incidents in Lahore, two persons were killed the same day.
