LAHORE: Gunmen killed four people and injured two others on resistance during robbery in Millat Park area on Saturday.
According to police, two dacoits riding a motorcycle entered a Omny paisa photocopy shop and tried to loot cash and valuables from the shop.
The shopkeeper and people present there put resistance upon which the bandits opened fire at them.
As a result Amjad and his son Tanzeel Farhan and Abbas were killed on spot whereas Gohar and Saleem received bullet injuries and were shifted to hospital.
The dacoits managed to flee. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the police authorities.
