No force can defeat a nation full of such brave soldiers: PM
QUETTA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that no force can defeat a nation full of such brave soldiers.

While addressing the passing-out parade of Balochistan’s Counter-Terrorism Force (CTF) in Quetta, the PM said he was grateful to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Commander Southern Command Lt General Nasir Ali Janjua for the completion of the training program.

It was the first ever contingent of the CTF passing out from Quetta’s counter terrorism training academy and was attended today by the PM, COAS, General Janjua, Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti and other high officials of provincial government, FC, police and Pakistan Army.

PM Nawaz while congratulating the 18 female personnel of the CTF contingent, said that amongst the passing out personnel are valiant daughters as well whom I have the best wishes for.

He went on to say that Pakistan is currently troubled with terrorism and the challenge must be faced with patience, endurance and perseverance to overcome it.

He further said that it is the government’s utmost priority to provide peace and security to the people of Pakistan.

The PM also said that the all efforts with the war against terrorism must continue till the complete end and that the people have decided that the war must be won at all costs.

The CTF contingent comprising 200 commandos including 18 lady constables, received 30-day training from the Pakistan Army at the academy. The passing out soldiers also carried out mock exercises displaying their capabilities against terrorists.

On the occasion, the PM and COAS distributed awards to the best trainees of the batch.
