KARACHI: Police took into custody thirteen suspects in Karachi during a search operation. Forty persons were also taken into custody by police for one-wheeling on motorbikes, on Thursday.
According to police, a search operation was conducted to arrest wanted persons in Baldia's Gulshan-e-Ghazi area. Police took into custody 13 suspicious persons during a door-to-door search of the vicinity. Police claimed that an investigation was going on in relation to the incident.
On the other hand, police cracked down against individuals who violated the law by one-wheeling on motorcycles in Karachi's Gizri area. More than forty suspects were taken into custody and their motorcycles were also confiscated.
Police claimed that they had cracked down against those who were involved in one-wheeling on motorcycles at the complaint of residents of Gizri. A case had also been registered against the individuals who had been taken into custody for the offence. The suspects will be produced on Friday morning in front of the court.
