ISLAMABAD: Ex-wife of Imran Khan, Reham Khan said that she had asked him for a wedding anniversary present last year and he had divorced her instead.
Speaking to Geo News anchor Rabia Anum, Reham Khan was asked to opine on the current political scenario in Pakistan. In response, the broadcast journalist said that she had asked Imran Khan as to what he would gift her on their first wedding anniversary.
"Let's pray to God he doesn't do to Pakistan what he did to me. I jokingly asked him what he would gift me for our wedding anniversary and on October 31st, he divorced me," she said.
The PTI chief is about to spearhead a protest campaign against the government, which he has referred to as the 'Islamabad Lockdown'. Imran has threatened to shut down the federal capital if PM Nawaz does not step down from office and present himself for an impartial accountability.
