KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Saturday carried out a raid at a house in Baldia town area of the metropolis and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition hidden underground.
According to paramilitary force spokesperson, the Rangers recovered arms buried under the floor of a house at Musharraf colony in Baldia Town.
The arms include one G-3 rifle, five SNGs, two 8 mm rifles, 14 magazines and 5000 rounds which were meant to be used for conducting terrorism activities in Karachi.
Earlier this month police recovered a huge cache of NATO weapons and ammunition during a raid at an empty house in Azizabad area. Bulletproof jackets and helmets were also recovered in this operation.
