ISLAMABAD: Renowned singer Salman Ahmed was arrested and later released by Islamabad Police when he tried to break police cordon and reach Imran Khan's Bani Gala residence.
However, the musician claimed that he fled from police custody.
Geo News reporter said that Salman insisted to go Imran Khan’s residence along with other PTI workers but police refused and offered him to go alone. He was then detained by the police briefly.
