RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Awami League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed telephoned PTI chairman Imran Khan to discuss the former's upcoming rally to be held in Rawalpindi on Friday.
According to sources, Sheikh Rasheed and Imran Khan spoke over the telephone and discussed an alternate venue for the AML party chief's rally in Rawalpindi. It was further revealed that the two party chiefs talked about shifting the venue of the rallyf rom Lal Haveli to Murree road.
Sources further claimed that Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was not at Lal Haveli but was staying at the house of a friend of his in Islamabad. Meanwhile, the police and FC personnel had been deployed outside PTI chief Imran Khan's Bani Gala residence. The Lal Haveli residence was also blocked by containers and police as well as FC personnel were also deployed outside Sheikh Rasheed's residence.
