LAHORE: Rescue operations were underway as the roofs of two houses collapsed in Lahore's Mochi Gate area on Wednesday.
According to details, rescue officials initiated relief operations in Lahore's Mochi Gate area as the roofs of two houses collapsed. Rescue officials were able to save four women and four men from beneath the rubble.
Relief operations are currently underway, as the likelihood of the presence of more people beneath the rubble seemed strong. Owing to the narrow streets of Mochi Gate, the rescue teams were encountering difficulty in carrying out their operations.
Those who had been rescued from the rubble were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. So far, no loss of life has been reported.
