ISLAMABAD: Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif questioned the timing of PTI's 'Islamabad Lockdown' protest, one day after an attack on the Police Training Centre in Quetta.
In a cryptic tweet, Khawaja Asif raised doubt and concern regarding PTI chairman Imran Khan's upcoming Islamabad Lockdown protest, indirectly linking it to Indian aggression across the Line of Control and attacks on Peshawar as well as Quetta.

On Monday night, a couple of militants stormed the Police Training Centre in Quetta and opened indiscriminate firing. One suicide bomber detonated himself, resulting in the martyrdom of 61 officials. Scores of other cadets were injured as well in the attack.
Frontier Corps, police and Pakistan Army conducted a joint operation which lasted a little over four hours to clear the compound from militants. IG Frontier Corps claimed that Lashkar-e-Jhangvi al-Alami was behind the attack. Daesh also claimed responsibility for the attack on Quetta's Police Training Centre.
PTI chief Imran Khan, PM Nawaz Sharif, COAS General Raheel Sharif and others also condemned the attack.
