KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro announced that Divali ceremony, to be held at Ghotki on October 30, has been postponed to mourn the Quetta tragedy.
He said that the ceremony has been postponed on directive of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, who appealed the Hindu community to celebrate Divali in a simple way.
Nisar Khuhro also appealed to pay tributes to the martyrs of Quetta incident by lighting candles on Divali.
Meanwhile, the PPP Sindh president has issued party ticket to Abdul Hakim Baloch for NA-258 Malir bye-elections.
