ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Monday claimed that one million protesters will march against the government in the federal capital on November 2.

“You have only two options left; either quit the office or accept the Terms of References (TORs) that were accepted not only by the PTI but the entire opposition,” he asked the prime minister while talking to media.

Commenting on reports that the government may try to stop the protesters, he said it was not possible for the rulers to arrest one million people who will come to the capital on November 2.

“No police can arrest 1 million people, and they won’t have space in jails to imprison them,” he said.

“They (rulers) won’t have enough time to leave for Jeddah this time around,” he said in a reference to Sharif family’s departure to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after overthrow of Nawaz government in 1999.

“We will not go to jail, it will be you who will be hiding,” said the PTI chairman. He reiterated that Nawaz Sharif was responsible for hindering the inquiry into the Panama Leaks.

Imran Khan also saw a connection between his demands for inquiry into Panama Leaks and the skirmishes at the Line of Control, which he said happened to save Nawaz Sharif every time his party pushed the government for accountability.

Later, speaking at public rally in Malakan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Imran Khan said the protesters would remain in Islamabad until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigned.

Khan said he had never bowed before anyone and neither would the people of Pakistan. “Robbers have seized control of institutions and resources,” Khan said.
