KARACHI: Police booked a security guard, who was posted at NADRA office's Nazimabad branch on Thursday, for slapping a female reporter.
Police at Gulbahar station confirmed that a case had been registered against the security guard for slapping the female reporter. The incident occurred at a Nazimabad branch office of NADRA.
The video of the female reporter, who belonged to a private news channel, getting slapped by the guard went viral on Thursday. The reporter can be seen in the video footage asking her cameraman to focus on the security guard's face. In the video, she also alleged that he had misbehaved with women.
The female reporter was conducting a program on the issues that were faced by people outside NADRA registration office.
