2 injured as assailants open fire on vehicle in Karachi

KARACHI: Armed assailants on motorbikes opened fire on 2 civilians and left them injured on Tuesday night.
According to details, the firing incident took place in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Iqbal block one. Four armed assailants came on two motorcycles and opened fire on a vehicle. Two persons inside the vehicle were injured as assailants fled the scene after committing the act.

According to the version provided by police, the four armed assailants had been following the car before they targeted it.
Violence has been on the rise in Karachi since the past few days, as incidents of shooting have stepped up in the metropolis.
